Engine model
Each imported board loads a model automatically: the one saved on this device — Play's review models included — that fits its size, preferring one validated there. Choose a file only to use a different model for the board on screen. Nothing here replaces the opponent or review model used on Hoshi's Play page.
Game support only accepts a whole board. It never embeds a screenshot inside a larger empty board.
Suggested moves come from one model evaluation, without search.
Experimental. The list is the model's first instinct about the position, read once: it does not look ahead at any continuation, and it can be wrong. Each percentage is the model's own preference among its moves, not a win rate or a measure of how good the move is. Selecting a suggestion plays it into your branch; it never changes the imported SGF.
Tap an empty point to branch from the position on screen. Moves alternate normally and obey captures, suicide and simple ko. For an ordinary game SGF, Continue in Play saves the line on screen as a normal Hoshi game, where it can be played, scrubbed and branched again. SGFs with setup stones stay here because Play cannot represent that setup.
